When Steve and Kim Pankratz began their search for a baby seat for their son Jack, who was born with cerebral palsy, they quickly realized that finding a product that would support his posture was going to be a challenge. Consulting with physical therapists, they created the Upseat, incorporating a forward tilted wedge to encourage good posture and healthy hip positioning. The innovative design gained national recognition after featuring on Canada’s Dragon’s Den. Now available across North America, the Upseat provides a safe and healthy seating solution for children. Beyond its success, the Upseat Company gives back by donating 1% of its revenue to support families through trusted partner organizations.
